Another week has passed and we are back here looking at this week's choice of trailers. I have prepared for you a sequel of story as old as the time, a story of a guy who likes to watch porn and an indie comedy starring former ball room champion and Russell Brand. So read on !!
PERCY JACKSON & SEA OF MONSTERS directed by Thor Freudenthal
Based on the second book in Percy Jackson series. We're meeting again Percy, the son of Poseidon, who has a habit of trying to save the world. Annabeth & Grover are right by his side and this time is no exception. They must find the fabled and magical Golden Fleece. Embarking on dangerous odyssey into uncharted waters of Sea of Monsters (in our human world we call it The Bermuda Triangle.), they must battle their former friend Luke (who turned out to be The Lightening Thief in the first movie), they need to fight group of terrifying monsters, an army of zombies and the ultimate Evil.
The movie stars the well oiled cast Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Jake Abel, Alexandra Daddario... I enjoyed the first movie very much. I am a sucker for Greek and Roman mythology, so when any kind of story, which incorporates the mysterious world of the Gods of Olympus and their heroic children, comes out, I am there to watch it. I wonder if they will keep up the standard they set with the adaptation of the first book. Look, I know that you probably think that this is a movie for kids and teenagers, but I do like easy-to-follow, no-brain-teaser movies for the sunday afternoon.
The will be released on 7th August 2013.
DON JON directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Don Jon is an american comedy show-casting the many talents of Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He wrote it, directed it and even stars in it. Don Jon is a modern day Don Juan. All he cares about is couple of basic things: his body, his pad, his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls, his porn... his body, his pad, his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls, his porn... and all over again. Until he meets one girl. Scarlett Johansson (to be honest, she is on a list of girls who could possibly turn me to other side.). This girl loves romantic comedies - the weeping kind. But Don has a little problem he has been hiding. His porn addiction. He is dissatisfied with his current lifestyle so he decides to try to find the picture in life.
I am extremely excited about this little creation. I love Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I followed his career through 3rd Rock From The Sun, 10 Things I hate About You, Inception, 50/50, 500 Days Of Summer to the Looper. The film looks very funny and I cannot wait to see what Joseph created in his mind and put it on our screens.
The film hits the UK cinemas on 15th November 2013. I'll be there to see it for sure.
PARADISE directed by Diablo Cody
After a plane crash leaves a young woman named Lamb faithless and with severe burns she loses the faith in life. She sets off to Las Vegas to indulge herself in the lavish Vegas lifestyle she has been missing out on. She meets a bar tender and a woman and together they show her how to start enjoying the life again.
The directorial debut of Diablo Cody start one of my favourite newcomers this year Julianne Hough. She is turning out to be an excellent emotional actress with the talent of delivering great performances. As seconds the film stars Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer.
The movie opens in cinemas 18th October 2013 in USA. I always enjoy self-discovering films so I will be there to watch it.
So you all read my this week's pick. I hope you will find something you might enjoy yourself. If there are any films you would like us to write about or want us to bring it to the attention of the readers, just let us know in comment box below or just tweet us.
Have a good weekend lovelies xXx
